Triumph Motorcycles Nepal has expanded its lineup with the launch of the Scrambler 400XC, a more off-road-focused variant of the Scrambler 400 X. The motorcycle is priced at Rs 7,99,900, with bookings now open.
While the Scrambler 400XC retains the core design language of the Scrambler 400 X, it introduces several functional upgrades aimed at improving off-road capability. The most notable addition is the tubeless spoked wheels, maintaining the familiar 19-inch front and 17-inch rear setup, along with tyre sizes of 100/90 (front) and 140/80 (rear).
Enhancing its adventure-ready character, the XC variant features a raised front fender, a metal engine guard replacing the plastic unit, and a small windscreen. These additions improve protection and usability on rough terrain while also giving the motorcycle a more rugged visual stance. As a result, the Scrambler 400 XC weighs approximately 5 kg more than the Scrambler 400 X.
Mechanically, the Scrambler 400 XC remains unchanged. It is powered by a 398.15 cc single-cylinder engine producing 39.4 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque. The motorcycle is built on a tubular steel frame with a bolt-on rear subframe, paired with a 43 mm USD front fork and a rear monoshock, both offering 150 mm of suspension travel.

In terms of features, the Scrambler 400XC comes equipped with ride-by-wire throttle, switchable traction control, a slipper clutch, a USB-C charging port, and an engine immobiliser. The semi-digital instrument cluster combines an analogue speedometer with a digital display that includes gear position, tachometer, trip information, and fuel level.
The Scrambler 400XC will be available in three colour options—Racing Yellow, Storm Grey, and Vanilla White—each accented with vintage-style racing stripes on the fuel tank and windscreen.
Triumph offers the Scrambler 400X and Speed 400 in the Nepalese market. Prices start from Rs 6.59 Lakh for the Speed 400 and goes up to Rs 7.14 Lakh for the Scrambler 400X.
